Senior Center of West Seattle
The Senior Center of West Seattle keeps minds sharp, bodies healthy and hearts engaged. For all who enter our doors, we offer new opportunities to make friends, learn new things and have fun. If you’re struggling with ill health and isolation, we help you meet your basic needs for food, housing, care and companionship.
We feed hungry seniors, visit those who are isolated, connect people to critical medical and legal services, and help them find places to live that can support their unique needs.
We want to become even more vibrant and more essential to those we serve, to do what we do better and grander. Your generosity can make that vision a reality.
Lions Club of West Seattle
The Lions Club of West Seattle, chartered in 1929 is one of the oldest Lions Club in the world. The club has a rich heritage of serving the West Seattle community providing vision services to the needy, offering scholarships to local high school students, and sponsoring the Yankee Clipper Sea Scouts Leo Club.
We will be working to assure that no child goes to bed hungry, to serve the visually impaired, to expand access to life saving treatment for children battling cancer, to protect our environment making the world a better place for all, and to do what we can to control the global epidemic of diabetes and assist those affected by the disease.
To meet these challenges we will build on our tradition of supporting youth by developing new ways to engage young people as volunteers and leaders in all of these areas.
